This is on the beach in Santa Monica, California where I run. Very low waves that day. I like the smooth transitions between the sand and the ocean in the foreground, and between the ocean and the sky in the distance. It seems the lower the waves, the smoother the beach. The scene just struck me, and I had to take a picture.
